Print on demand piezo electric QS2000 signage, displays

The QS2000 employs piezo electric “print on demand” inkjet technology. “Piezo electric” means the nozzles on a print head open and close, as instructed by the data in the file, to drop a dot “on demand”, where it belongs, to create proper color.

There are 510 nozzles per print head, and 21 total print heads. The print head “measurement” helps define the resolution. The smaller the opening is on a print head, the finer the dot. The QS2000 has a print head size of 31 Pico liters (a Pico liter is a millionth of a millionth of a liter). Each time the logarithms tell the head to fire, it will release up to .000000000031 liters of ink per dot. The print heads are clustered in jet packs. There are 3 print heads per jet pack x 7 colors = 21 print heads.
